Men at Arms: the Musical! (Line Art)
Men at Arms: the Musical! (Line Art) by @prisspen (Priscilla Spencer)

I got a kick out of the moment in "Men at Arms" when Angua envisions Carrot bursting into a musical number. I kept giggling as I pictured it in history class, even going to far as to envision Franco Nero's voice in "Camelot" instead singing "Ankh-Morpork! It's my kind of town!"

Now that I've gone and drawn it (I'll update it with a bunch of dancing minor characters eventually), I can't stop laughing whenever I see it. It's partially the moronic expression on Angua's face (deliberate, this time), but mostly it's Carrot's tights. It started out as a joke, but I liked the drawing so much that I didn't have the heart to erase it.

Angua is holding an apple, by the way.

Likes: Everything! Particularly Carrot's hair, arms, armor, expression, tights, sword, and boots. Did I leave anything out? XD I was going to write "Ironfoundersson" on the thingie next to the hilt, but I can't write that tiny. Also Angua's idiotic expression, her armor, her awesome skirt, and those awesome strappy sandal things. I want a pair! And Angua gets pointy ears because I said so. I must say that this is my most-loved drawing at the moment, as this was the first time I ever really had success drawing bodies. Go me! You can count on seeing it CGed in the near future.

Dislikes: This is a toughie. I guess Angua's helmet, if I must say something. Artwork © Copyright 2002 Priscilla Spencer
