Gayle - Tears
Gayle - Tears by @Cacopheny (Abigail Oliver)

I realized recently that my pictures are often lacking a certain... emotion. Well, several emotions, actually. So, I decided to do a run of pictures displaying different emotional extremes, just to try my hand at it. This one is sorrow, maybe even so far as to say grief. Gayle's husband, Klaindale, has been gone a mighty long time and she misses him terribly. She's even wearing his tunic (that's why it's so huge on her).

Technically, this is the best pic of Gayle I've ever done ::laughs:: It's amazing that the only time I can portray her as pretty as she's supposed to be is when she's all tear-stained and red-nosed. And yes, I know tears aren't really blue... that was my first attempt at making tear-lines ever, before I thought of just outlining them with ink ::chuckles::

But this turned out very nicely, if I do say so myself. ::nods firmly:: Gayle belongs to me ^^

This is really well-done! Don't worry about the blue tears; it works for this image.

I like the subtle shading in her hair. Very nice. I used to be pretty good at doing chars in non-happy/neutral emotions, but I've gotten out of that practice...must...work..harder at it!!

Looking at this makes me sad! It really good... the cloth and the hair an everything. It's good, if very sad.
