As colour television went to Wales, Teledu Cymru's mother station welcomed another change: From Harlech to HTV. Similarly, there had been talks to rename the former into TC, but that plan thankfully went nowhere. They did get a different identity than HTV though, based on their promo graphic in the late 60s. Notice the colour tag here - specifically in Cymrag and English, boasting to both the Welsh and English viewers about their technological leap.
