Channel 3 North East (1970)
Channel 3 North East (1970) by @WestKnightTV (West Knight)

A random what-if: Channel 3 North East, instead of Tyne Tees, as the official name for the ITV franchisee throughout the times. Here, Three NE sounds more sensical than the full name, so I adopted it as a prefix.

The triangle symbol, nicknamed "Grape", drew some resemblence to Australia's Nine Network dots, with the top right coloured to depict their geographical location. It was used until 1993, when it was replaced by a gigantic 3 in Helvetica.
