Poor sap...
Poor sap... by @Digi (Digi Otes)

The other day, as I was working on my 'Digi Studies', I recalled that I had given my conscience a solid form--a character. So I drew him next to me, aggitated for bothering someone--but trashed the image.

Then I was wondering, later on...how does this guy keep up with me? I mean, holy shnikies! I bet he keeps Dunkin Donuts in business. Poor Otakura..

Lesse...I think I accomplished a good, tired, "Whhhhy is he launching toasters at the senior citizens again...?", groaning expression. But, aside from that, all I really liked about this image is his right hand. >0< Scoooore!

...And, yes. That IS a handle-less mug of coffee in his left hand.

Now, where are those toasters...?

Nice casual look to the character, and I really like the shape of the feet. You don't see feet quite that shape or that big, strong-looking, thick, and detailed like that. I also rather like the wing shape, it's very interesting. And his right hand is indeed well drawn.

His left arm looks a little odd, though, as if he's holding the coffee straight out at a strange angle. A more natural way to show a character holding a coffee cup would be to have the arm to the elbow hanging down straight (the elbow ending about the base of his ribs) and his lower arm angled at least slightly towards his body, but mostly parallel to the floor.

Other than that, it looks good. I'd like to see this picture colored.

Yes-! Much thanks to you, Mistah Jinx, for clearing that up for me--I couldn't figure out what I'd done wrong on his left arm, nor how to fix it(though, trying to fix the image at this point was a tad in void, 'm afraid). I'll have to keep that in mind--perhaps re-do the picture..? Lord knows I have the time.

Yes, yes, I'll definately have to look into coloring this.
