Dance Without Me
Dance Without Me by @Lucky_Ladybug66 (Daisy Hunt)

Well, I redid Dance Without Me, so of course I needed to redo the picture that goes with it. I colored the background black with Paint Shop Pro, though everything else was hand-drawn, and then I put in all the lyrics for the Over the Rhine song that was a big influence on the fic in the first place: "Latter Days." I'm very proud of this! ^__^

Oh, and here's the link to the new Dance Without Me: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1170806/1/

Wow Daisy! You are getting better and better at your drawings! I`m happy to hear you got a Paint Shop Pro, you can do lots of things with that software. I like your pic, keep up the great work! ^__^

Ah, Paint Shop Pro, how fond I've grown of the program...lots you can do with it, especially when you download all the happy little bootlegged filters out there for it. And with PSP, there's a way to get rid of that fuzzy outline that accompanies flood-filling a background, if you choose to ^_^ There's a little tool called Color Replacer (I believe) the icon of which is a red arrow pointing into a blue background...you can use it to select the areas the flood-fill didn't reach, and replace it with the background color. You usually have to do it a few separate times to get it to work completely, but it does work. Or if you prefer, you can make the airbrush really tiny and opaque, and it fills in the spots a bit more accurately ^^

The positioning is very nice in this one, and the coloring is very smooth. Good emotional piece, this...and the tears are nicely drawn. ^^

Oooh, Color Replacer. ^__^ Thanks, I'll havta try that. I wanted the fuzzy sort of effect for this picture, but there was too much of it to begin with and I had to spend time blacking out a whole lot. XD
