Hand Grip Reference
Hand Grip Reference by @Roadstripe (CyberCorn Entropic)

This picture is a reference to show how a hand grips a pistol. The lines on the fingers show where the joints are. This picture was quickly drawn and inked for reference and not for hyper-accuracy.

Wow! Great job on the details, great job on the inking. I like it, I need reference like that. ~_^

Thank you for your comment! Feel free to use this picture as a reference for how a hand grips a gun. That was the very reason why I drew it. (Actually, the only real gripe I have with the picture is that the knuckle of the middle finger is too pointy. Otherwise, I have no big quibbles with it.) On a similar note, when drawing a hand holding something, it's best not to draw a fist and then stick bits of the something on either side of it. It looks better to draw the something and then wrap the hand around it.

Nice hand reference, I think it looks good! I think the Megatron is a nice detail. :)

Thank you for the comment.

I know it sounds strange but I drew this because it was easier to show someone how to hold a gun than to describe it. I hope people have found it useful over the years.
