Soren /Neoterical Advanced
Soren /Neoterical Advanced by @susafram (Susan Frame)

Finally, a REAl project that I've been working on! Its already taken me quite a bit of time to get this where it is, but the results are pretty damn good. Still working on it. It seems very stereotypical of a portrait pic, but hey, its not like I'm Ms.Dynamic 24-7 here. And yeah, Soren got a haircut. Why? Because i did. I might get rid of the red streaks though... mine are more of a really frikkin' dark maroon, so I might go for that. Everything else is fairly acurate, in comparison to my crazy little tresses. (hair.) I like this better than Neoterical about 70x more... At least I'm off of the oekaki for a few hours! Hopefully in that spare time I can brush up my guy-picking up skills. snorts a few times between laughs and trips again, rendering herself unconscious for the eighth time this week. Crap this is good! its yaself hu? thats pretty cool. You should try doing one of yourself in a neat pose or something. That would be truly awsome. It would take hourse, yes, but the results are quite good...

I'm a pretty big fan of that digital realism stuff. Here's my take on what could be improved on this (YMMV, always!).

First: the lips need to be sharpened up; right now, they look kinda smeary and just not...defined (especially when you compare them to the eyes). Zooming in with a hard-edged brush should help that.

Same with the hair on the forehead...just a li'l sharpening and detailing will make it look completo.

Finally...if you wanna go for ULTRA realism, you may want to add some really subtle irregularities to her skin (like the skin below the cheekbone).

Have you ever seen the EbonyKeep forums? They've some excellent artists and tutorials there dealing with digital realism, if you're interested.

Other than those few points...I'd say you've a winner here. :)
