I love emotional images like this which embody relationships, and you've done an incredible job with the expressive lines - everything is neat and tidy with a magical wispy quality, and I really get a sense of trust by looking at this, esp. with the way the Drow is leaning protectively over the Elf. ^^ The angled shading you've used is not only the first I've seen used around here (I should get out more often! :D) but it's also very well done, growing darker and finer in the appropriate places and you've showed awesome control with your line placement. You evidently have a very good knowledge of anatomy as well, and everything combines to make a well-rounded, beautifully executed image. Fabulous work!! ^__^
