Sirocco by @Wren (S.A. Skinner)

This is an image that has been knocking around in my brain since I was about 16 and was inspired by my recurring dreams about tornados. Each time I dream about a tornado, some great upheaval happens in my life; I move, I get a job, I lose a job, I lose a loved one, I find someone special, or some other occurance throws my whole life out of whack. It's been redrawn about half a dozen times and each time the mood and expression of the woman in the whirlwind changes. Over the course of the last 14 years, she has gone from arrogance to malice, from pain to despair, and from apathy finally to ecstasy. I think that if i ever redraw her again (and somehow i have a feeling I will) her expression next time will be one of serene calm.
