have you ever seen someone, or a picture of someone and just thought: 'i really want to draw him/her'

i did, last night, started drawing him today... i'm not entirely sure why. i just find this guy really fascinating. i sorta mentioned that to him just in a more vague and entirely different way... and he seemed really intrigued by the idea of being drawn.

i started off trying to head toward the caricature way of things but i found myself putting so much detail in he ended up more realistic

edit: i'm thinking about colouring him in photoshop actually
