Khu . . . Somewhat more life like
Khu . . . Somewhat more life like by @chaosmage (Yaminah Tashanazi)

This is actually drawn on the back of a church program. I started drawing and I had the face, neck and shoulders done when Mom made the comment that it looked Egyptian so I started drawing Khu, wanting to do a more realistic look.

There are parts of this I know are just error-full-tastic, but it started out as a doodle anyway. I finished it earlier today before I went to Amy Joe's to scan stuff.

Done EEEEVVVVIIIIIL .7mm because that's what Mom had in her purse. I really hate that lead.

Wow. I love this! The eyes and hair especially catch my attention. The hair looks so messy and so . . . Khuish. XD And the hand gripping the spear came out really well. His "WTH?!" expression is wonderful. This is definitely one of my favorites of your work.

Wow really? XD; Hmmm . . . needs to look at it more It'd be interesting though to try and color it just with multiply, kinda like a marker effect.

The hair and eyes are probably my fave parts of the picture. Along with his neck piece. It turned out really . . . in a round shape without wavering. I like his scar too, even though if it wasn't in battle. snerk

The hand was a yaaay victory. XP If you look closely you can see his fingers from his other arm behind his right arm. I also tried to do a bit of his scar on his left arm, but there wasn't enough showing there for it to really work, but it is there.

I need to try and do a picture of Seth and Yaminah in this style as well. X3

I'm always terribly amused how you view the expressions of my characters. LOL You almost always see them as looking weirded out by something or whatnot. XD This could either be a result of you being used to my Seth cartoons where he's flipping out or my inability to draw eyes sometimes of the same size. XD; Oh well. Though usually afterwards I go back and look and I suppose some of them do look like that. To me, Khu more looks like he's coming to attention after zoning out and he's seeing something weird. XD Though I'm sure after getting over shock his response would definitely be What the Hell?! LOL

^^ went back and looked more closely at the pic and found said things. The scars look good. And I love the fingers on his left hand poking up.

Actually, I described him as having a "WTH?!" expression because it looks like he has an eyebrow raised. XD;

goes back and looks herself ....... Oh yeeaaaah. @_@ I'd totally forgotten about the eyebrows, 'cause I'd done them during the service, and sometimes I forget about them when I draw the hair and stuff (like I forgot his ears and tried to mask it with the earrings). XD;;

XD

You know, it took me all this time to realize that the scar is going the wrong way. ^__^; It's vertical, not horizontal. XD;
