Unico trio
Unico trio by @SleepyShippo (Sleepy Shippo)

My first attempt at drawing Osamu Tezuka's Unico. I know I did terrible on this, but I loved Unico when I saw "Island of Magic" at age 3 and wanted to try my hand at the little guy. The eyes came out ok on the big one, but on the two smaller ones, they're lousy. Oh well. I hope this catches the attention of some old Unico fans at least.

I used to wonder the same thing for a very long time. The only scene that I could recall was the little unicorn jumping at the witch (which I learned later on was actually a puppet) and slashing with its horn. I'm so glad that I am not the only person that remembers Unico. The animation has been out of print for years, and the manga probably costs a mint to obtain. I only remembered the name of the anime when I spotted the title in my copy of "The Anime Encyclopedia"

Thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate them!
