Sailor Pluto Leaping
Sailor Pluto Leaping by @Nadine (Nadine Arnold)

I'm not really a Sailor Moon fan, so I don't know why I felt like drawing Sailor Pluto.

I looked at photos of pole vaulters to get her pose. One odd challenge was her shoes, as you don't usually get a good look at the soles of shows, and her feet are at an odd angle. Even so, it was good to place her in a more dynamic pose than one usually sees.

Even though it was something of a cop-out, I like the lazy anime stereotype background.

Actually I think the background works quite well. The lines give a better sense of action. Overall the entire picture is quite dynamic, and her pose looks great. Also the simple shading works well and stays more true to the show, although I am not a big fan of Sailor Moon either.
