Buttons and Kou
Buttons and Kou by @sheianto (Sheila Antonio)

TokyoPop's having that 'Rising Stars Of Anime' contest coming up pretty soon so I thought I'd take a shot at it.

The story: A teenager girl, Shansa, is misersble/bitter cuz she just moved to a new place. She later gets her hands on a weird manga titled "Kokoro/Tsubasa (Heart/Wings)", which is a short love story of an angel and a mortal. The book itself is pretty thick but half of the story is missing. Shansa wishes aloud that the story didn't end and magically falls into the pages. She takes on the role of the female character in the manga, Buttons. As Shansa tries to find her way out, she - along with the other fictional characters she makes friends with - unknowingly create and continue the rest of the romantic/adventure story.

Anyways... this is Shansa (Buttons) and another character in the story, Kou, who's a wandering one-winged angel. They both don't know it yet but they are the main characters of the story. And soon-to-be lovers ^_^
