I love the lighting on this piece! I wish I could use pastels as well as you do! You did an awesome job with the bottle. The blues and yellows are mixed very well. I also like the streak of yellow across the picture. It ties the composition together. =) I think the image would actually look better if you didn't draw in the sparkles. Overall, great job!

Great composition and brillint use of colours (I'm fond of pastels myself) Fun how a still life can become a fantasy painting with a little imagination...

Awesome! I really love your use of oil pastels. The bottle has really cool shading/highlights, and i love the stars leading down to the... asparagus? o.O Er, if that's not what it is, please forgive me, because that's what it definetly looks like and I'm not sure that would be in a still life, though, hey, why not, really? Anyways, I'm sorry I've rambled through complimenting you on a very nicely done still life. (BTW, how big is this?)

Yep, that's asparagus, lol. The teacher had a big box of still life supplies and as soon as I saw the fake asparagus bundles, I was like "OOH OMG, I gotta draw these!" for I am a Neopets nerd. xD It's 8 1/2 by 11. :) Thanks for your comment!
