I actually finished a background for once. It's a real background too (for once). Like always, scanner drained a lot of color, but it does not look too bad. Also, a gift for boyfriend, hence the effort for once... She took around 6 - 7 hours. Completed in colored pencil.

Hey your so awesome your always commenting on my drawings, I added you to my museum since I just found out what that was lol. Well anyways there's not much to say since I've already said a lot of it in other comments. Your colouring rocks my world. And I like the whole fin part in the front and the abckgrounds so awesome. Great job!
I love the color, so I probably spent far too much time on the color. The museum can be a little hard to figure out. It took my several months to figure it out. Anyways, I have added you to my museum as well since you have such beautiful art work ^_^

She rocks, the colors are awesome and the background stunning. Trust me i've spent months (well 2) looking at paintings of mermaids for a bathroom decor project and this is just so refreshing after all the dull colorless unhappy ones. the sea is colorful after all and mermaids should be too! sorry for the rant =P. lovely piece
