Sisar Syksy
Sisar Syksy by @Vastatuuli (Milla Miettinen)

The name 'Sisar Syksy' is Finnish and means 'Sister Autumn'. Her colours look like autumn to me. She was supposed to become a human but... She's nice that way too. At least I think so. This is one of those rare pictures that I've tried to colour properly. (Where do I find them? I mean - I drew this one three years ago!)

I really love the character design on this piece. THREE YEARS AGO? Oh my goodness! I'm sure your coloring technique has improved muchly since then--not that this one is particularly lacking, mind you. I just feel more color would be better for an Autumn spirit, you know? I love the way she's flying. And the fade effect is very nice on the colors you have! Her hair design is the best, with those three layers.

Critique? You don't get one. Three years ago? I know you've definetly improved since then! Looking forward to seeing more of your recent work!

Actually my technique hasn't really improved. I should have been drawing more if I had wanted that to happen... But I can always learn again, can't I? ^.^ And thank you. I agree with you that powerful colours, much colour would have been better for an Autumn spirit. But maybe next time.
