[Astian] Anatomy of a Saule : Lateral View
[Astian] Anatomy of a Saule : Lateral View by @Banrai (Andrea Brooks)

This was just something done as an inktest while fiddling with my pens. Saule have very feline skulls, and I guess maybe a lot of people don't get that because they're dragons. They also have a bone in their illicium (antenna) that attaches to their skull with muscle and tendon that allows very fine articulated movements.

Also: I realize the vertebrate are goofy looking. I had lost interest in the drawing by the time I got to that point. D:

Very nice ink work.

The anatomy is very well proportioned and the details you put in for the skeletal and muscle parts are nice too.

Definitely tell the two apart.
