Mermaids either end up looking too human or too fishy. This one is a great mix of the two.

Here's that same mermaid, just she's in colour now and I have drawn the background for it.
I stated off just wanting to draw a simple mermaid picture, and have ended up drawing a whole goddamned picture...what do you think?

She's absolutely gorgeous! I love what you've done with the webbing between her fingers. Her coloring is superb, too. And the detailed background, my oh my. What a wonderful job you've done. The aquatic theme suits you!
