Glorfindel
Glorfindel by @dark_persian (Donna)

“The rider’s cloak streamed behind him and this hood was thrown back; his golden hair flowed shimmering in the wind of his speed.”

When I read the book, I always pictured Glorfindel having slight waves in his hair so that, when the light of the sun caught it, it would reflect and seem to radiate light. Thus the meaning of his name – ‘golden tresses’.
