Bessad is a favourite target of Alix and Sokisa's malicious, autocratic bullying.

When Eraam isn't around to defend Bessad, or those times he tells Bessad to man up.

Bessad will often take vengeance on Alix and Sokisa in petty, mischievous ways that will inflict significant inconvenience, irritation or embarrassment for them.

Due to Sokisa's empathic senses, Bessad gives her a wide berth as to not arouse her suspicion or alert her to what he is up to; often Bessad will hide or mess with her belongings or trash her quarters.

Alix however is particularly vulnerable to payback from Bessad, as Alix often passes out from excessive consumption of alcohol.

When Alix and Sokisa come looking to exact retribution upon Bessad; he has proven adept at fortifying himself within the Med lab, the ships hydroponics garden or his quarters.
