A promotion for the film Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~ Mai Hitoyo

For the film I most want to see, I made a little promotion for it. This is the longest I've worked on a digital piece. It took me a whole week and usually I loose patience with a digital piece after the first day. I'm quite proud of it as well. Before I was asking for critiques, and a big thanks to those who took time and gave advice. It helped a lot.

So enjoy, Akane & Suefumi promoting their film.

And if anyone iscurious as to actual artwork and information, trailer, etc. I have the link to the official site here: http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/neoromance/maihitoyo/

I love the format of this piece. The tall, but narrow shape really works well as a promotional image. The shading on the kimonos in particular is fantastic and everything else is well shaded, too. The girl's face from the nose down seems to jut out a little awkwardly, but otherwise it's a very nice image. I love the way the guy's kimono fades into the background like that at the bottom of the page.
