I love Iori. But I'm so sorry for his character. o_O Since he's been so hard to describe and people don't always seem to quite understand Iori...here it goes.
Iori is literally insane. He both hallucinates and looses all correct lines of thought in random, spastic fits of insanity, from which anything can happen. Iori may expirience either angering or frightening hallucinations of being tortured or injured by persons of his past which obviously don't exist anymore, and a few which never did at all. Painful expiriences of being gored, having his muscles/heart/eyes/throat/organs forcefully ripped out plague him. At other times the sudden imbalance in his brain chemistry sends him into a reaction similar to chemicals and drugs, reducing him to a blind, foaming, convulsing and vomiting, agonizingly pained victim on the floor. Often the only thing that can remedy this is the face or touch of someone he knows and trusts well (His brain makes the connection of something is protecting him or there to help, therefore the insanity can't stay, and it 'leaves') or by causing pain or injury to himself in actual reality.
Other times his mind rips away and buries his kinder self in relentless hate and rage, the angrier he becomes, the more he feels ill and pained, which only makes him madder in his unreasonable state. Anything living crossing his path is mauled down in a fit of hellish anger, for his mind twists the perception of reality, making any living things the cause or root of his anger, pain, and hate, driving him to commit murders as visciously as he can...the more pain or mess that comes from it, the further his own mind is held at bay. Other forms of insanity simply come from the way he acts, from uncontrollable depression and sadness (Which yes, it does make him cry, but this is the destructive kind. Crying and breaking things as he goes, before burying his face in his paws for example.), to absolute freakishness, such as speaking things that make no sense, to seeing how close he can come to committing suicide. Iori is EXTREMELY dependant upon close friends and what little family he has. Somehow, they're the only thing that wards away his insanity...because they are not viewed as the demons which drive him to these extremes, as all others are.
This is a really good picture! Poor Lori. :( He looks really nice.
