"Peace In Our Time" by @Supernaut (Rafael Medina)

An assignment, if you will, at the messageboard I go to. We were supposed to take a quote and illustrate it, and so I took Neville Chamberlin's slogan "Peace in our time", which, in context, he believed he had secured for Britain during WWII by giving in to the appeasement of Hitler. Of course, that only led to a more drawn out and bloody war than what occurred, since if they had stopped him earlier, WWII might not have been so devastating or might have not even happened (don't quote me on that, I'm not exactly sure O.o). This illustrates that idea. The character's name is Hope, who I made up on the spur of the moment. Um.. that's it! collapses Artwork © Copyright 2002 Rafael Medina

Damn, this is cool.. I really like the backround the best, though. And the tattered flag. Symbolic. What message board do you go to.. ?
