Something for a challenge I made on Artfol about drawing my own characters as part of classical pieces and I got to do this entry last night (so far, the only moment I had to draw anything)

I wanted to draw Margarita, a secondary character from one of the versions of my webcomics "Espero" and "The Beach". She's my most beloved OC and here she's featuring the oil painting made by the Chilean artist Israel Roa. He had an interest in drawing typical scenes from my country back in the early XX century with a naif touch and with lots of details, but from all his works, this simple piece was the one I loved the most and I imagined Margarita in it. The original name of this piece is "Muchacha con sombrero rojo"

A little bit of her: she loves flowers and she dreams of someday having a beautiful garden with all kinds of flowers and trees, this mostly because she grew up in a dry desert where there were very few plants.

That's a dream that will come true 😊
