I really like this, Tonks is probably my favourite character in Harry Potter, that said I'm not much of a Harry Potter fan, well the blurring looks nice as well as the background.

This picture had been floating around in my skull ever since I read "The Order of the Phoenix" last summer, but I never got around to doing it until today. It took about 40 minutes from sketch to completed colour... which was interesteing to note because I never usually time myself.
I always pictured Tonks as being slightly punkish... though the green tights are a little questionable. Man... now that I look at it I made her incredibly low waisted... or maybe it's just the way the kilt sits? The thing on her navel is a piercing, not a french fry, in case you were wondering.

Actually, going by adult standard anatomy, she's incredibly high waisted, haha.
I really like how you stylized everything. The rough colors accent what you've done with all that, I think, by keeping with the loose qualities you've given her.
The background is an interesting choice...usually that sort of thing would come off as a little cheesy, but it actually provides a good contrast to the forground, and adds a cool element to the color scheme.
