Samurai Deeper Kyo
Samurai Deeper Kyo by @XSasukeRebornX (Tereana D.)

I did two things to this with my computer: I 'stitched' these two sketches together. And, I scanned them.

I drew them with pencil then, I went over the pencil with a BIC roller fine pen. (those pens are quite cheap: $1.00 for two of them) And then, I colored them with watercolor colored pencils.

Hotaru and Yuya.

Nice!

I LOVE samurai deeper kyo!! XD

I like how you coloured the hair for yuya~! Just a note, you might want to focus on the proportions of the body though (not that i'm very good at it myself lol that's why i'm very aware of it).

Say for yuya her body size goes more from larger to smaller down from the top to the bottom. It might be easier if in pencil, you LIGHTLY draw the gridlines of how the basic body shape and line would be (just like those dummy thingies) then with your usual strength in drawing, draw the details (the usual) and then go over it with pen? It will help guide you when you draw (it's easy to go off track if you focus on some parts of the body and don't see the big picture.. i always screw up like that lol) Hope this helps! I still love this tho! I can NEVER use watercoloured pencils! hehehehee..

Keep it up! XD

Yeah, I know but that is what happens when you draw after/during an episode without anything to go by. And on parts of the hair where it it darker, wait a moment, most of the messed-up colouring went away when I scanned it in.

On Hotaru, I'm not actually done. I ran out of sharpened orange watercolor colored pencils.

And, this is yet another reason why I rarely draw from the anime.

(this is actually quite good for me in coloring with nom-computer means)

You probably can't read them but, I have comments on the picture that I wrote during and after drawing.
