Van Ryuujin
Van Ryuujin by @teh_kor (Koree Thomas)
Drawn on: 08-28-03
Materials: Paintchat, MS paint, AdobePSP7
Medium: Watercolor

This is the fuzzball I previously mentioned. --;; He stalks me everytime I go to a paintchat. He won't stop coming out on the canvas. His name is Vanryuujin, and he's my aisha on neo, who until recently sat neglected with my other pets/characters that need drawing.

He's the 38th reincarnation of Van Vanel, becauuuuse... @_x; I had the image of Van as a cat in my head, ^.^;;

This one went into the beauty contest, as I liked the result, minus the crappy outline left from the water coloring.

If i had something like that always hanging around me in the chat rooms, I don't think I'd mind! LOL The pixeled background is a nice touch-- not everyone can do backgrounds, so this is nice substitute. The wings came out quite nice, not too detailed, but not too plain either. The eyes really stand out. The only thing I feel should be pointed out is that the paws and joints have sharp corners to them. If this was your intention to draw them that way, then all the power to you, but I think they would have looked a little better if the edges had been smoothed and rounded.

Wow, thanks for the feedback! =D Yes, I did intend for the paws to look like that, it's my style at the moment, though it's apt. to change sometime soon. I'm glad that you liked it enough to critique and comment on it, that's really appreciated. =)
