KH Cloud and Zack - Childhood Friends
KH Cloud and Zack - Childhood Friends by @Lucky_Ladybug66 (Daisy Hunt)

This scenario was briefly alluded to in my fic Bleed At My Feet, and I loved it so much I decided I had to illustrate.

Cloud is six and Zack is ten, and while Cloud has stayed healthy during an outbreak of some sickness (probably a serious strain of flu), Zack comes down with the worst of it. Thinking he's dead, Cloud grabs Zack's hand and cries.

Since there is no KH Zack, I love how that gives me the freedom to do whatever I want by inserting a version of my own. The idea of him and Cloud being childhood friends is just so cute!

For some reason, I really love how limp Zack's left hand looks, held between Cloud's hands. Zack's right arm and hand was driving me nuts for a while. It was supposed to hang over the bed, but half the time, I couldn't draw it right and the other half, it looked like it was touching Cloud's shoe. So I finally put it on the bed and decided it looked good there.

Cloud's spikes are deliberately bigger and more wild; such a young kid probably would not try to keep them in any kind of order!
