Lain by @Tonee (Tonee Slater)

I drew this picture of Lain on 2002.12.03 after school. I had originally planned to ink it, but as I began drawing it began to look good in pencil, so I started shading it and have left it in pencil. I was worried about the scanner not scanning the drawing well beause it was so light, but it worked just fine.

I think I messed up with the alignment of the hair a little, and I think I drew the jawbone a bit too far up to the ear. I added shading to the neck (even though I didn't actually draw the neck) to try to fix that. I also messed up with the Serial Experiments Lain logo.. I should have made it a little taller.. which would allow me to make the letters a little bit wider, which would get rid of the extra space between the l and the a.

Oh yeah, I also forgot to include the "Make me sad, make me mad, make me feel alright" quote.
