Briana and Lao, with the ever-faithful Alta
Briana and Lao, with the ever-faithful Alta by @Cacopheny (Abigail Oliver)

I've been meaning to do a pic of Bri and Lao together for a while ^^ This one turned out nicely, well, mostly nicely. I have a few nit-picks about it, but on the whole it's an okay pic.

Briana is a castle advisor, often called upon to listen to boring petitions in the castle throne room, and so is in possession of several ball gowns. Lao is a castle servant, often called upon to clean floors, tend horses, and occasionally cook, and so is in possession of a servant's uniform. He and Bri are friends, maybe possibly perhaps something more later, and Bri's mun and I thought it would be interesting to show the class difference between the two. Not like class matters much in the castle, but still.

Colored pencil. ^^ 'Nuff said.

Briana belongs to Christy-chan (sorry, her hair got a little darker again, C-chan ^^' ) and Lao belongs to me. His, er, race? Whatever you'd call a type of human from an alternate dimension. Whatever that is belongs to whoever wrote The Golden Compass. ^^

Oh, come now... Amazon.com, my dear. ;) Philip Pullman, for future reference. Know this one didn't scan as well as you intended, as I was watching you draw it a bit ;) but I still think it turned out well. Though I gotta say that you may never catch Bri dressed up and ready to pose, so to speak... ;) Good one, my friend. :)
