She Who Is Called He Who Is Called I Am... And Metatron
She Who Is Called He Who Is Called I Am... And Metatron by @lunavee (Luna Vee)

Straight from the character design files of Osiris' comic, come God (the chick), and Metatron. For those of you not versed in angelic lore, I quote Alan Rickman (Metatron) from Dogma.

"Metatron acts as the voice of God. Any documented occaision when some yahoo claims that God has spoken to them, they were talking to me. ...Or they were talking to themselves..."

Anyway, yah. This image was an experiment in the much way for two things: Pose and robe crinkles. As you may have noticed, I can't do clothing creases at all. So, I used a few different pictures as guidelines and I think this came out pretty well. ^.^ I also love their poses. God's is my favourite, since I do that one all the time.

My God's not very well endowed... shrug

Anyway, you may be wondering how I came up with the odd designs. Well, to be simple. the design for God's robes were inspired heavily by Acid Reflux's own God, but without the little flying loose bits of the pink cloth. Meanwhile, the wavy hair and adult-ness that still exudes innocence was inspired by Kevin Smith's God from Dogma, played by Alanis Morrisette. She made an awesome God. Truely. Clearly. Anyway, yeah. It was my decision uninfluenced by anything to keep her hair short, as I already have enough long-haired characters. While the little sprig o pink bangs just popped up randomly and stuck. ^^;

Metatron... Well, my goal with him was to start out with an Alan Rickman age 20 or so template, then bishounen-ize him, and imbelish the prettiness. He came out looking gayer than Osiris, who IS gay. Well, bi. It doesn't matter. Anyway, yeah. I like Metatron's hair, and his pose is noofty, but I didn't like his clothes as I was colouring them, because they looked too preppy. So I added the coat as a last-minute thingy ding. nods Artwork © Copyright 2002 Luna Vee
