From a distance.
From a distance. by @Shazi (Sharon M)

After one whole year from yesterday it's hard to describe how helpless you feel when you're from across the atlantic and unable to give your friends comfort right at this time. But as I anticipated on the day before yesterday, I just couldn't fully comprehend on how, when watching the cermonies at St. Pauls Cathedral and Ground Zero on british television It had felt, for one fleeting moment, like all our hearts were beating at the same time. Such a feeling is undescribable and unbelievable. But it compelled me into finishing off my picture which shows the symbol of commitment from across the atlantic (or infact wherever you all are ^^). I thought using Spirit as that focus point. And if you've ever seen the film you may understand. ;) We will never forget 9/11 (or 11/9 being a brit) nor was this pic created to reflect on physical and mental sorrow. But on love, unity, freedom, and above all the message that love from the outside surrounds you my friends. Godbless you all and this world which changes everday in everyway. Please excuse the slight stroke errors in my watercolour technique. Heheh I'm still getting used to it after such a loooong time. Artwork © to Sharon (Shazi) Matthews. God bless America. God bless my friends.
