This one's a bit of a cheat - the background and clothes/armor are largely made up or taken from other photos. Of course I picked this shot because of that hair! Another weapon in his arsenal! It's funny that when I started the LotR characters, they began as more or less just head shots, and abstract backgrounds. But then I eventually added more and more detail to the rest of their clothes and until they practically filled the whole paper (originals are 18x24). I mean, how can you ignore everything that went into making those movies? So some characters are more elaborate than others.
