I'm glad you like it. I'm a little worried about the chain's strength too, but my school ran out of this gaige wire :( Oh and I beleive you about the buffers, I've had the one at my school try to eat my fingers too, the drill press is pretty evil too.

Im not sure I really like the chain, but I really like the enameled peice, and keep in mind that I'm just starting in the jewlery area, so any help you can give me is always wanted.
EEK! Jewelry! It's been so long since I've been in Jewelry class (I loved that class SOOO much) so seeing this brings up really pleasant (and some... not so pleasant...) memories. The enamaling on this piece is lovely, and I do like the chain, though it worries me about its strength to last over a long period. The links do look like they might eventually pull apart.
So, let me see if I remember enamalling correctly. Did you use the powdered stuff? I made a few pieces like that, I had a blast. Never turned out with quite such a smooth transition of colors, though, I must admit. It's absolutely lovely. And I like the rectangular shape for the pendant--it's actually a relatively unusual shape for jewelry nowadays, that I see in stores and whatnot, that is.
Okay, advice? BEWARE THE BUFFING WHEEL. If you have one, that is. The one at my school tried to eat my fingers. I kid you not.
I'll definetly look forward to seeing more jewelry from you!
