Arms of the Angel
Arms of the Angel by @Arloquin (Arla Moon)

One picture from a series. Basically, the girl and future queen, Rajan, is being held by the Angel Arraliel.

I tried mixing photoshop with natural media, and it didn't exactly work O.o I'll redo the background sometime.

Your pencil sketch is absolutely lovely. Their markings, the shading, the wings... It's gorgeous, and I don't say that lightly. ;) As for the photoshop--try layers on the background, if you can. That prevents it from blurring into your main drawing--though I understand the light effect was meant to--and means you can mess it up as often as you like without having to start over. :) So try that out. I hope that helps you.

Thank you, liliwagn ^_^ I love layers, they are my friend. I know how to use them in photoshop, I'm just a lazy bum and didn't have the time when I scratched this piece up. But you're right, some layers might help make the background more distinct. I'll get around to it sometime or another.

Thanks again!
