Well peoples, I finally drew something Roman Dirge related. For those of you who don't know: Roman Dirge is Jhonen Vasquez's fellow comic book artist and good friend... and RD's married! Woo! Go Roman! And go Lisa! (Lisa's his wife, yanno.) Umm... anyways. Roman's got a few comic book series and some books and junk. He's got some pretty weird, but cool art. If you like JV, you'll like RD. He's got a style and a sence of humor that's a mix between the Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, the Addams Family, stuff along those lines. I'd rate his comics PG to PG-13. They don't even cuss in the comics. Well, Lenore (the lil blonde haired girl on the bottem of the pic) is da cute lil dead girl. I fink wot happened ish she died but felt as if her family needed her, so she came back to life... somehow. As for Ragamuffin, (the doll on the right of the pic) used to be one of the most feared vampire serial killer dudes of his time, but then one night while he was doing his usual... uh... whatever he does when he came across this witch who turned him into a doll. Then Lenore found him and she brought him back to life, but he was still a doll. So now he's a doll for all eternity. Mr. Gosh (the weird... thing on the left) is madly in love with the 10-year-old Lenore. So madly in love that he wants to marry her. (He wants to marry a 10-year-old dead girl, people!) And Lenore's tried to get rid of him, but he always comes back. Even if you stuck pins in his head, they would just sink through like his head is made out of some thin fabric. The guy doesn't bleed, and I doubt he feels pain. Welp, that's all I really can say about these guys. Mmmyup... spookyland.com. That's Roman's official site.
