Stylized Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon
Stylized Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon by @tarysand (Taryn Sanders)

I decided to re-upload this one since I did't like the colors on the previous upload, plus it came out all blurry. I used a technique I don't often use for this pic which was to try and do it in nothing but colored pencil instead of outlining it in black marker first. The only thing I used black marker on was the eyes, the rest I penciled in lightly with graphite pencil and erased it as I filled in the color. I like how it came out, except I messed up on the nose a little bit, and after I was done I realized I'd forgotten to add her 'sailor stripe' on her collar. ~sigh~ -_-;; The pain of being a perfectionist.
