Stealing the light
Stealing the light by @dracothrope (Terry Lynn M)
Sketchbook assignment: illustrate a scene from a fairytale/myth. This is the Raven from some North American myths, in one of his many pranks, stealing all the light of the world.

Mixed pencil crayon and marker, going for iridescant on the feathers, that's why he's so purply. Like? Artwork © Copyright 2002 Terry Lynn M

EE! :D Yanno, Raven was my totem for a little while. n.n It's sad that ravens were too close to the sun while they tried to steal it so they got turned black- they were once white. o.o
