an off topic comment for a quick sec...why the whole "anime is better than American art" attitude? That's really shallow... Bleh. Anyway. 'tis Salmon, Anya's newest character. Ok, so that's two characters I've found that I can use pink with. Mea and Salmon ^_^ This thing took me hours to do

It's all just a matter of tastes, really. Japanese comic art is not "better" than American, but if you, like me, happen to like more Japanese anime or manga, you might say that it is. But not to say someone who likes, Superman or Spiderman are wrong for their opinions. Well.... that's MY opinion anyway.

Gah!! So sorry, I forgot to comment... I like this picture, it's really cute. Looks like she just woke up, or has something in her eye. Very salmony indeed. ^_~

I agree. Anime was accually influenced by American cartoons when the first artist started it, back during Betty Boop etc. Then with the Disneys Tarzan there is some Anime influence when he's a baby. The circle of influence. Like my clothes, take something you saw that you like and alter it to your style. I take the same attitude to the drawing boards.

Sorry for the longer than I thought history lesson, but I save the best for last. I like the expression and body posture, she looks like she has one of those irritating headaches that won't go away.
