Cateiran and Reketet
Cateiran and Reketet by @TheDevilCat (Caitlin Wilt)

Ah, the joy of tablet addiction.

I've wanted to draw something like this for a very long time, and my tablet helped my finally get it out. I love my tablet. So many times I simply quit on art because it takes too long for me. Perhaps I spend so long working on the pencil sketch, that by the time it's ready for scanning and colouring, I don't want to. Sometimes I don't finish a picture because of the sheer amount of time it would take to computer-trace all the lines in it. Sometimes I give up merely halfway through the pencil sketch.

But my tablet lets me skip all that, now. I don't have to transfer it from paper to computer. It's just, BOOM, already there.

Anyhow, these are a couple characters from Agony Cometh, Push Tyber's AWESOME RP. The big guy is Lord Cateiran of the Mystic Chyriths, and he belongs to my buddy Gayle. The little guy is Reketet, a Spirit Chyrith, in his humanoid form. He's Catie's adopted son. ^_^

I've always wanted to draw Cateiran and Reketet together. Perhaps someday I'll actually do a nice pencil-to-computer pic of them, but for now, this will have to do.

Cateiran probably wouldn't make a very good bed for little Rek, 'cause he's frail and emaciated, but I ignored that for the moment because it makes a cute picture, no?

And I drew Rek in his human form, just because I wanted to. I'd never drawn it before either.

Awww! It's cuuuuuute! ^^ I love it, Phe-chan. Very good work.

Geez, I'm not anywhere near that good with my tablet ::laughs:: Mine's way small, though, so that might be why.

O_O That looks perfectly fine, to me! You should finish the background or something! It's amazing!
