Hm, I wouldn't say it's too DARK...it's more muddy; see if you can get the highlights to pop out a bit (use Photoshop's "Levels" or "Tone Balance" tool), or just paint them a lighter color than what you have there.

Very impressive stuff--keep it up!

Seems like she's decayed since the last time I saw her--right face being so textured and so, reminds me of a zombie, with those spooky eyes and such.

But anyway, yes! It's much clearer to look at, now! Very nice alterations!
