Tiger Eye
Tiger Eye by @keiltagh (Keiltagh Dubh)

Pastel on coloured pastel paper, finished image of the previous sketch. Pastels are foreign to me, but I think it turned out alright, despite the fact that the scan is wonky, it doesn't do it justice.

Guh~ I'd try to say something constructive, but I know that'd be pointless..Because it's not gonna happen. I'm too awestruck. And OOOH AHHHH-ish. Pretty. Love. <33

thank you, i'm very happy with how the eye turned out. it's great paper, two different textures, one smoother but i like how the rougher side works.

Whoa, I find this picture really amazing. The stroke of pastel you used are really effective for the fur - I love this picture, the eye is wonderful. That's just really gud.

Whoo.

stares

P-pretty.

stares again

Okay, I'm done staring. This is so good. The paper texture really suits the image, and it's just perfect all around. I love it. The shine in the eye looks super realistic, and . . . PERFECT! Everything's just right.

I like the way you drew the fur so that it draws attention to the most striking feature of the picture, namely the eye. But do you feel that it is a bit unbalanced, in the sense that there is a lot of fur on the upper side of the image, but less on the lower side of the image?
