"The Windrunner' by @Dark_Suicune8 (Amanda Carstensen)

The fur was done using a "layering" technique in which I go from lightest to darkest. This helps capture the different shades of grays and browns I used for this piece. ONce I have the get the fur to look the way I want it to, I go in and use a lighter gray or Beigh color to burnish it. When this happens, the fur takes on a "softer" appearance. I hope to have a fur tutorial posted in my gallery soon.

I also entered this into my local county fair and won a blue ribbon for it!

I love wolves. They're my favorite animal. I think you did a great job on this. The softening colors look very pristine. Must have taken forever. If not, more power to ya.
