Bundy as a puppy
Bundy as a puppy by @petra (petra wheeler)

This is my youngest dog, you can see in some of my other artworks. I tried out some new background thingies like tiles. And I think the tiles look like tiles. Like neatly cleaned tiles... yeah, we sweep a lot... really! And I tried out this 'fur' thing.... need a lot of patience, but I kinda managed. Still need more practice though.

I think your fur technique turned out pretty well here, especially in spots like the tail and the ears.

Maybe next time, don't be afraid to make his outline shape less solid, to show more fluff. Also, don't be afraid to introduce more colors into fur, instead of pure black and pure grey. Those colors will have even more colors in them -- have a look at this http://www.idenise.net/misc/art/colourtut/ for more help

Next time, I'd also really really doublecheck your sketch -- look at it upside down, in a mirror, etc. -- to make sure the facial features are measured out right. His eyes and snout seem a little off when compared to each other.

Anyway, nice to see your work again, thanks for sharing! (Pets the puppy)

AWWww!!11 The expression is quite cute, I love it when puppies look up at you like that. And the fur...! Wow. Great job ^^
