The Great 'Tak' Mystery... SOLVED!! by @tarysand (Taryn Sanders)
Yo, listen up, here's the story... Now anyone who's familiar with my pictures and visits my archive a lot knows that I just really really do not like Tak. And YET(!!!) they also know that I keep drawing all these pictures of her!! I mean, you'd think I was her biggest fan the way I crank out the Tak fanart, and believe me, this could not be further from the truth. So why, you ask, would someone spend their time drawing all these pictures of a character they really don't care for? Hell, I wondered this myself and puzzled over it quite a bit, but after reading the new chapter in Flipside's ZIM fanfic, 'A Room With a Muse' I got this idea, and now I think I finally figured it out, and... IT'S ALL NAILS'S FAULT!! Anyone who's sifted through my archive ALSO knows that Nails is my muse that lives in my head and presides over all my artwork. And now I'm positive that SHE'S the one behind this Tak-drawing obsession of mine. It certainly would explain why I draw so much of her, even though I personally can't stand her. Either Nails actually LIKES Tak, or she's just doing it to torture me.
Well anyway, I thought I'd draw this little comic to sort of illustrate that on-going battle between Nails and me when it comes to drawing the Tak art.
Oh yeah, don't you love her little stuffed Godzilla? ^^ She likes Godzilla. And Cherry Slushies.
Dusts off her hands Well, that wraps up THAT mystery. Now to figure out who's been haunting that old, abandoned amusement park. TO THE MYSTERY MACHINE!!!

XD! Yes, I had been wondering that. Curse you, Nails!! As for my muse...he is unnamed but recently has me pouring out waaaay too much Yu-Gi-Oh fanart. What's up with that?! pokes Unnamed Are you forgetting what we're SUPPOSED to be fans of?

I LOVE THIS!! Holy crumpits and fig newtons. I wish I could draw like that AND color like that! I have no idea why, but I love your muse's expression, here. o.o Eh, anyway... At least you know WHO makes you draw Tak. But why...? spooky background music o__o

Awww, man you are GOOD at this! I have tried desprately to forget the fact I am sort of a living muse for my split personality (excuse me while I beat the crap out of nonbelievers) but have failed mostly. Heh, I make her draw the oddest things, and then laugh as she throws them at her own head...mmmyep...Well, I wish I could draw as well as you, but my coloring skills are yet to be matched! You are a very good artist, and in this one I like the third panel the best...that expression on your face is a classic. I'm gonna gonna go throw some kittens out a window to see if they land on their feet, kay?

Wheee! Great pic! Very funny! ANd thanks for your comment on the pic for the art contest in my gallery! GUess your luck worked, I placed second in the county! squeak and I move on to state now for a chance to go to nationals, and be put in a magazine! I don't see why you don't like Tak so much. And yet, you draw her way better than I do. Hey, Nails, quit maken her draw somone she doesn't like! But still, Taryn, you should concider yourself LUCKY. A lot of my Tak drawings don't even LOOK like her. Look at me, I drew a lot of pix of Zim going through painful things. And yet, I still like him 'cause if it wern't for him, the show wouldn't have shown and if the show hadn't shown, I would draw my beloved Dib and become the artist I am today.
Har! Ace, I love that last panel in particular. :-)
Heyhey, if you don't wanna draw more Tak try and pop that inspiration over to my head! No wait, I'm supposed to be drawing Dib. No! I have to do commissions first. Argh, oh man! I don't know what I'm doing! Oh well. This rocks anyway!
