Ahem. Anyhow. I've had this one in mind for a LONG time. I wanted to give it a background, but I just didn't have the time. Ick. Mistake 1.

This spawned from the day I first heard the song "fly from the inside" by shinedown on a single that Kami sent me. I listened to it a couple of times and instantly loved it. It reminded me so much of myself, and what's gone down since I first set foot on the soil of Houston County High last year.

For those of you who don't know, last year was hell. The group of guys that I'd grown up with turned on me, and bit by bit began treating me with less and less respect, the lost respect being replaced with ridicule and cruelty. It in turn, began to transform me into an aloof, malicious bitch. They made me out to be te bad guy, and on top of the mental abuse, one of them pushed me, shoved me, kicked me, stole my seat at lunch, threw my things, broke my stuff, ruined things, etc.. And none of the others even bothered to stop this. The straw that broke the camel's back was the day that they got a hold of my sketchbook and began HORRIBLY ridiculing me, because I had a concept drawing of the middle of a transformation from human to were. (see the piece titled "two faced bitch") Anyhow I'd had enough. I snapped, screamed and stalked off to sit by myself at lunch. When I get home, I find that two of them had created an account on Deviant Art for the sole purpose of harassing me. Thank you to those of you who reported them. I appreciate it muchly. Anyhow, it left me incomplete and mean. Really mean. But since, I've been invited to hang with some other friends of mine, soon joined by the new friends I've made in highschool. Listening to this song made me realize that I don't need those guys that hurt me. It gave me a sense of power, and the lyrics described exactly how I felt. Thos here is this.
