Carlton had always been on good terms with their fellow newbie LWT. Aside from happily producing news programmes for the weekend station, their friendly relationship was also shown weekly in slides like this, which guaranteed a smoother transfer to the latter, rather than cutting sharply from the continuity announcer. The two would be collaborating more closely in the future, most notably in the news department.
