Yoshimi Page 1
Yoshimi Page 1 by @deaddays (John Rios)

Her name is Yoshimi she's a black belt in karate working for the city she has to discipline her body

As I grey tone page 3 of this comic, it's become painfully clear that it's time to I give you's guys a sneek preview of what I'm working on. Consider this my "trailer" if you will.
Yep, this is page 1 of my YOSHIMI comic based on inspiration drawn (pun) from the FLAMING LIPS album "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots." Now, it's in black and white, so the robots couldn't very well be pink could they. Anyway, this is a little thing (about 5 pages long) just to satisfy my appatite for an actual comic book type project that's not a Dead Days (THOUGH THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH DEAD DAYS! READ THEM!) with some ACTION. It's turning out to be some of my best, most mature work yet (look, a little girl fighting cartoony robots is as mature as I get). More pages to come in the following days! So prepare for Yoshimi!

'Cause she knows that it's demanding to defeat those evil machines I know she can beat them Artwork © Copyright 2003 John Rios
